WORTHY TO BE GREAT Keynote

WORTHY TO BE GREAT Keynote

In the WORTHY TO BE GREAT Keynote, Gene aims to help young people develop self-discipline and strengthen their social and emotional skills, empowering them to take responsibility for realizing the greatness within themselves. He will guide them in effectively self-assessing, enabling them to become more aware of the unproductive attitudes and behaviors that stem from their "Empty Closet Moment."

Participants will also learn how to create Self-Discipline Focused Action Plans, which will help them replace unproductive attitudes and behaviors with productive ones, paving the way for success. Additionally, they’ll gain a deeper understanding of the difference between logical and emotional decision-making and how this knowledge can improve their decision-making skills.

This is NOT a lecture; it’s a dynamic, clear, and practical message delivered with excitement, humor, and purpose. Upon request, the keynote can be tailored for STEM students or to inspire interest in STEM careers.

Key topics covered in this keynote include:

  • Identify Empty Closet Moments – Recognize the traumatic experiences that hinder social and emotional development.
  • Self-Assessment – Take an honest evaluation of your thoughts, emotions, attitudes, and behaviors, and how they impact your life and education.
  • Self-Awareness – Gain insight into the root causes of detrimental emotions like depression and anger.
  • Social Awareness – Develop empathy by understanding how your emotions, attitudes, and behaviors affect those around you.
  • Self-Management – Learn to control emotional impulses by understanding how the brain responds to conflict.
  • Logical Decision-Making – Understand how the mind helps in making logical decisions over emotional ones, improving decision-making skills.
